We are proud to welcome Nathan Bridgwood to the team at Pax Law. Nathan is a tax lawyer specializing in CRA dispute resolution and tax controversy matters. He brings focused experience developed through targeted tax work at Legal Focus LLP, his Judicial Law Clerkship at the Tax Court of Canada, and his role as an Associate at Marciano Beckenstein LLP. Nathan is known for his clear communication of complex tax concepts and his ability to provide clients with practical, strategic guidance in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency.
Nathan began building his tax foundation as a law student at Legal Focus LLP, where he conducted legal research on tax and civil litigation matters under the direct supervision of Marcela S. Aroca, now a Justice of the Tax Court of Canada. He drafted and revised legal documents and memoranda while gaining early exposure to tax dispute work.
He further strengthened his expertise during his Judicial Law Clerkship at the Tax Court of Canada. Nathan conducted in-depth research and analysis on complex tax disputes, drafted multi-section judicial memoranda and draft reasons for judgment, and prepared clear, objective summaries of opposing positions. His work was consistently praised by judges for being well-written, brief, and to the point, with excellent summaries. This clerkship provided him with valuable insight into judicial reasoning in tax matters.
Most recently, as an Associate at Marciano Beckenstein LLP, Nathan supported clients directly in tax dispute resolution, tax planning, and related litigation. Drawing on his experience at the Tax Court, he helped clients navigate tax issues with clear analysis and practical strategic advice.
